FARE by Astronaut Husband
This album is the soundtrack to a made-up horror game I conceptualized called FARE. It's inspired by the serene and off-kilter tracks of popular horror games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil.
The game starts with the main character falling asleep on his bus ride home. He wakes up lost in a strange town. As he searches for a way home, he's confronted by his troubled past and inner demons that manifest throughout the different locations.
To get home, you need to explore the town and collect the weird bus fare that the bus driver requires (random creepy artifacts like an eyeball or two-headed slug kinda thing) before they'll drive you to the next location.
Once you collect the fare and hop on the bus, you get to take a break and reflect as you get closer and closer to home. These songs would play at that stage of the game. They're supposed to be the calming "save room" type of songs!
It's just a fun prompt I gave myself to inspire the music :D
