Pixie Hollow from Pixie Hollow by Asher Kai
This song is about a longing for the swept-off-your-feet feeling of being the subject of someone's love. I wrote it while I was feeling a bit bittersweet, and recorded many demos of it over the course of a week or so, altering elements about it each time. One of those days, I sang it with a smile, feeling the swell of a romantic crush. That changed the song forever, and now when I sing it live, it feels to me like a signature song. Not only is it fun for me to sing technically, but it I think represents my perspective and experience of young romance well. That makes it a classic for me, who heavily incorporates romance into daily life.
This song titled the album because of its prominence in my live performances and its bouncy rhythm.
