Ingenmandsland by Asbjørn Skytte Boes

Danish-Estonian Quintet led by a young bassplayer from Jutland. The band which formed in the beginning of 2020 in Odense, Denmark, continues the tradition of collaboration between artists from across the Baltic Sea. The album ”Ingenmandsland” is a compilation of original compositions written by the bandleader Asbjørn. It is a classic jazz quintet searching for new sound opportunities and musical space. Its most recent work resulted in the mix of jazz, with a more conceptualist foundation, and improvised music.
