this song comes from the softest spot in my heart. it comes from where i used to be awhile back. this song describes the uncertainty of change and how underneath any change you try to make for others, you need to always stick to being yourself and forget what others tell you. sometimes what others tell you is not the best thing for you. you must always decide what is best for yourself because in the end, YOU ARE NUMBER ONE. wearing a mask will get you nowhere because no matter what, beneath that mask is who you are for reals and eventually, it WILL come out. real friends accept you for who you are and it should not matter what others say. sometimes the battle of life can be a hard one. the reflection in the mirror, however, should ALWAYS be the person you want it to be. not someone unfamiliar. that is what this song is about.
