A soundtrack for the moments in your life: when the winter comes, when a love is lost, when you realise you are ok, when you have to stand and fight, when the darkness comes and you are drowning in it, there is... a tiny flicker of hope, bravery and love.
I have never really felt 'heard' so I became quiet. I began writing poetry and a diary when I was 11 and songs sometimes came. Sometimes I catch songs when they come fluttering through my window like a ghost bringing me their stories. They are really the deepest thoughts that come out to brave the world. Kenny helped me make them into songs, like a bed of flowers to present themselves to the world. Performing has always felt like the most unnatural thing to me, but now 'my girls' want to be heard. They really like living in a recording. Maybe you'll let them out for a bit and listen to their stories, maybe you'll become friends. I know that makes them really happy when they find a kindred soul.
