Maondaagmorgezon by Arno Adams
Arno Adams knows better than anyone what melancholy is. He also knows how to translate this into beautiful dialect songs.
It was quiet for a while around the Belfeld troubadour. For a reason: first a heart attack and then a benign tumor in the head.
Fortunately, he is now on his way back.
His album MAONDAAGMORGEZON (MONDAY MORNING SUN) was recorded on successive Monday mornings in the Balance Recording studio of producer Ben Uijtjens (known for his work for Herman van Veen, Robert Long and many others).
This time Arno distances himself from his trusted guitar. And soberly accompanied on grand piano (Mike Roelofs) and bass (Jo Didderen) he reinvents himself again.

Arno Adams grew up in Belfeld, a village located between Venlo and Roermond, the Maas and the German border. His music (sung in Belfelds dialect) is often about his life, his grief, melancholy and loneliness. With influences from folk, jazz and blues, Arno sings his songs as a modern troubadour.
Arno now has six albums to his name.
