When creating this piece i had two things in mind:
The journey of the soul and also the journey of the power of one's prayer. In the past when i have prayed i have at times felt that prayer "lifted" out of me while saying it in the physical world and almost could feel the prayer be taken away to wherever it needs to go. That is why there are two parts to the piece.
The first part represents the prayer being said and then the second part is the power of that prayer on its journey as it gets fainter and fainter as it travels away from the person who uttered the prayer and moves toward whoever was prayed for.
Similarly I had the thought of the soul moving farther away from this physical realm and closer toward the other spiritual realms.
