Arkan returns to SK11 with ‘Attraction,’ crafting a labyrinthine sonic journey marked by mystery, minimalistic grooves, and meticulous precision.

Guided by tension-driven rhythms, ambiguous textures, and subtle melodic shifts, this four-track release pulls listeners into a state of suspended hypnosis. It evokes sensations that hover between nostalgia and urgency, shaped by immersive atmospheres and restrained emotional force. Rather than offering resolution, the EP lingers in the in-between; seductive, unresolved, and fully embodied.
“Attraction” opens with delicate, glass-like percussion and wind-swept tonal textures, blurring the line between harmony and dissonance in an eerie, tactile balance. “Nasty Tool” turns inward, held together by pulsing bass and suspended melodic gestures that unfold with quiet, bodily rhythm. On the B-side, “Raubtier” escalates the motion with rolling percussion and hypnotic bell-like motifs that circle restlessly, broken only by an off-kilter clap sequence that snaps the trance open. “Up & Down” draws everything inward again; its bouncing tension lines and elusive chord progressions moving like memory: unresolved, nostalgic, and quietly haunting.
