At dawn when the world is still
I stand a top Your highest hill
And gaze in wonder at the skill
You put into the things You build

The earth is filled with Your creations
Rushing rivers rock formations
Along with living populations
Stretching over every nation

Thank You, for creating me
With open eyes so I can see
The beauty of each bird and tree
Marvel at Your majesty

My king queen father mother
Shepherd teacher friend lover
You have every angle covered
Who’s like You, there is no other

God Almighty You are One
The universe is Your’s to run
Every star not just the sun
Reminds us of the work You’ve done

And past the stars there must be
So much more that we can’t see
Or even grasp because we
Are but a flea compared to Thee

Are we not just a pest
Feasting on Your living flesh
Consuming water food and breath
Until at last we rest in death

But worthless as mankind may seem
On this earth we reign supreme
Given more than we could dream
This is the land of human beings

While other beasts You simply feed
We have far more than we need
Planes, trains, wine, weed
A life of luxury we lead

No need for greed cause we all win
Just look at the place we’re in
The worlds a giant jungle gym
To run jump climb swim

A playground where we put on plays
Make music in every way
Sing until the end of days
All I want to do is praise

Ask for nothing just give thanks
For fruit trees, river banks
Lush valleys, jagged peaks
Vast oceans, winding creeks

Dense cities, open plains
Highways, shady lanes
Blue skies, clouds, rain
I love it all I can’t complain

And I am so inspired by You
That I will keep creating too
For there’s nothing I would rather do
With life than making something new
