MeiaMeia by Arcomusical
MeiaMeia (Portuguese for “HalfHalf”) is Arcomusical's first album, released on October 28, 2016 on Innova Recordings. It presents a chamber music cycle for the Afro-Brazilian berimbau, co-composed by Gregory Beyer and Alexis C. Lamb. The music was composed during a period of three years of research and the development of a compositional approach to the berimbau emphasizing its melodic and harmonic potential.
