Lyrics
Quarry dust hugs my throat
Each raw gasp buys seconds
Currency in ribs
Ledger carved inside
Sirens throb below skin
Riffs drill like deep augers
Glass lungs harden slow
Heat lives in grit now
journal entry: eight breaths left
Granite cough echoes back
I taste chipped starlight here
Grit turns to chorus
Hammers hum prayers
Every pulse a tunnel
No crest, only carbon
Hope bites the shards hard
I keep chewing through
meter reads: lungs at bloom-crack
Third inhale tastes like knives
Yet sparks bloom inwardly
Obsidian lungs
Call the quartz awake
If I surface shattered
Arcbreather stands whole still
Gears wait above
Send me their smoke up
