The recording of this album began 10 days after the passing of my beloved, my soul mate, my partner and sidekick—Patrick. The songs were all written during the 2½ years we were together, in love . . . This is the story of devotion and undying love that knows no bounds, and the magic of breaking through all fears and obstacles in order to journey with open hearts on a road less traveled . . . I dedicate this music to him, in honor of a life lived to it’s fullest each and every day, and in celebration of the love that we shared, so pure and true that can never ever die.
Patrick, I love you forever, eternally, you are a part of my soul. Thank you for blessing my life with your light and for inspiring such beautiful music. I always knew you were my angel . . . .
