Looking through pile of CDs. Stopped at one I saw seconds before. Temporal distortion? Can’t recall title. Dark outside. Figure on roof opposite. Man or woman? Significant? Too much to think about. Tired. Can’t stop.

2.

Scissors taped and put to back of drawer. Went to bed. Couldn’t sleep. Took scissors out of drawer. Snuck downstairs to bins. Opened up black bag. Put scissors in. Tied up again. Tight. Managed to get to sleep. Couldn’t hear scissors.

3.

Bathroom. Turned light off as I entered. Can’t remember why. Spheres bulging from walls. Is ‘bulging’ right word? Something colder. More metallic. Put ear to floor. Heard everything all the way down. Pipes, breathing, woodworm. Basement. Must have been there 45 minutes. An hour? Not sure.

4.

Slammed her hand down on the phone. Cut me off. “What are you doing?” Laughter from living room. Expression I’ve never seen before. Another face?

5.

Have to go. Isobel is waiting.
