Aperus (/ˈap·ər·us/ - "to perceive the inner nature of things intuitively.") is a sound artist and photographer living in the high desert of northern New Mexico. His work evolved out of an early interplay of atmospheres and imagery into a wider intimacy with sound, noise, texture and symbolism. Aperus processes signals from the subtle world to create works that echo with unexpected meaning.
