Lyrics
There is a dead man in this photograph.
How I saw his wrath as the evil light left his eyes.
He swore a vengeance from beyond the grave.
He said "Jesus saves and then he will make you die."
I waited for the bell. It never seemed to ring.
No fault in my assessment.
Skeleton, skeleton wears my skin.
I came to see it as a novelty,
The sheer banality of his sad, pathetic curse.
I waited for the joyful times to stop,
The other shoe to drop and for everything to get worse.
I lived a life without a strong regret,
But how could I forget what the stupid, dead man said?
Whatever consequence that came to be,
The dead man lived with me inside my own blessed head.
