Aligning is inspired by the solar eclipse of 2017. In those brief minutes, viewing the silver wisps of corona and the purple-grey twilight, we entered a different sky, reality, and planet. In this window of time, when the moon cast its perfectly solar-aligned shadow, I was profoundly moved. I felt awed by the beauty, but it reminded me that we have so much universal potential that we are squandering. This song is a reminder of our connection to the cosmos, all creatures, and each other.
