Hollow by Annie in Black
Album Hollow was born from silence, grief, and memories of those we’ve lost - friends and family taken by illness or self-harm and struggles too heavy to carry. Some songs reflect on those dark thoughts directly, others on the sorrow and emptiness left behind.
The title Hollow comes from that feeling of being emptied out, when no one is around and the mind fills with shadows. It’s the word that captures both absence and echo - the weight of loss, and the silence it leaves behind.
