Spatial EP consists of two instrumental tracks - Late Night Music of Solitude and Runaway. Both tracks were created as part of a research project – Composing Electroacoustic Spatial Music: Fourth Dimension in Production.
This research investigated different workflows and techniques of electroacoustic spatial music composition. Fourth dimension – meaning not a physical dimension, as we all live in a three-dimensional world, but rather as another, additional space, additional tool, that can be explored by the composer.
Late Night Music of Solitude - Repetitive, overlapping synthesizers, close and distant. Composition is made of delayed sounds floating in space, accompanied with rain, forest and creatures. Relaxing background for sorting out thoughts.
Runaway - Mixture of analogue and digital synthesizers, strange rattling noise and a bit of a kick. This is an experiment, exploring how sounds interact with each other in space.
For better immersion, use of headphones or speakers is recommended.
