This was a message given to me via Megan Allegra, a dear friend and talented medium who gave me an Akashic Records reading in which this was stated:

"It’s like a person walking on a beach with
an enormous rolling luggage bag, dragging across the sand. The luggage carries dozens of heavy bricks, each one symbolizing the traumas that led to feeling “lost,” unnecessary expectations that people told you to follow. Inside the luggage is everything
that keeps you from believing how spectacular you really are. The more you witness yourself and integrate the pieces of you you were shown arent good enough, the more capable you become to stop dragging the luggage, open the bag and decide which bricks are not yours to carry anymore."

The first red flag in our relationship that I ignored was when I told him about this analogy and how much it meant to me and he responded with "well that's nice but I'm walking the beach picking up everyone's bricks and putting them in my backpack." I remember thinking, oof, that's not the intention you think it is... Camila this guy might not be it... be careful. Mostly the lesson here was that I was dealing with someone with a savior complex, who would rather fill his bag with other people's shit than work on cleaning out his own... I understand the intention but you can't help others until you've helped yourself... you just end up dragging others into your chaos on accident... or on purpose.
