This song really is just a release for me. I've gone through an immense shift in my life. In a moment, those you thought closest to you can vanish and become strangers. I was forced to realise that individual journeys, once parallel, can fork away with the tides. Tides on which we have limited influence.
However, just as the cold rain beating on my face is uncomfortable; it brings nourishment and sustenance to my reality. It allows me to be replenished and to grow. For without the storm there would be no life in the world of my heart.
