7ft JIM from ORIGINAL COPY by ...and the Native Hipsters
This is a real Lo-Fi recording, direct onto a cassette tape, in a back bedroom in Battersea, London, in 1979. When i was making this album I discovered the tape in a cake tin in the attic. The noisy end is lifted off 'THE BISHOP IS IN THE FRIDGE', by The Patterns (released in 1980), featuring the two other original members of ...and the Native Hipsters - Robert Cubitt and Tom Fawcett. The Patterns released one 7inch record. Original copies of this are available from our website.

It's 45 years since ...and the Native Hipsters started recording and we are just releasing our 4th album. 'WILD CAMPFIRE SINGALONGS'. Thats not prolific I know but thats because this is one of many irons in the campfire. Sing along if you like.
