I have always looked to the beauty and awe of nature for inspiration. This album is inspired by the sound of distant storms. I have tried to depict this musically through the use of contrasting melodic, rhythmic and harmonic invention on the guitar and with the actual sounds of a storm. In the words of Andres Segovia...'the guitar is like a mini orchestra with many different tone colours'.
Andre Reginato is a guitarist, composer, teacher and artist, weaving an eclectic blend of classical, jazz, folk, blues, world music and experimental soundscapes.
