The depths are getting deeper today/ the heights seem so much further away/ and everything is telling me that I’m only what they say/ Where’s the hope?/ Where are You?/ But the Lord has not abandoned me today/ His light is pushing darkness away/ and though trials and tears will come my way/ I will stand and say that there is hope/ there is truth/ I am only who You say I am/ Only You can name me/ You have sole authority/ I am a child of the great I AM/ Only He can name me/ In Him I am set free/ The enemy is crouching at my door and telling me that I am nothing more than past mistakes, regrets, and sins that I’ve dealt with before/ Jesus Christ is knocking on my door and He’s telling me that I am so much more and His righteousness has crushed the serpent right there on the floor/ Show me the white stone/ Won’t you whisper my name?/ Show me your Kingdom come/ I am crying out/ You respond with love telling me to forever proclaim
