Elektro-Autistik by Ancient Astronaut Theory

a bit of a departure from the other releases. I wanted to try my hand at orchestral compisition, without the hassle of actually commissioning an orchestra to play it, so I made do with MIDI sequencing and samples. I lean toward 20th Century composers in my own tastes for such music, so expect cacophony and organized chaos, fed thru a meat-grinder and into a wood-chipper, using digital equivalents to the electro-acoustic and musique concrete techniques of yesteryear.

99 years ago, George Antheil caused a riot with the premiere of his piece "Ballet Mecanique" in Paris... I'm sure he could never have predicted how it would live on despite it's infamy, inspiring countless other composers in the ensuing decades... and yet here we are!
