When we “sell our soul”, it is an act of acknowledgement that there is no going back to our prior state of ignorance. Knowledge cannot be unknown. Once Santa Clause has been exposed, he can never lay claim to intimidate your actions again with his “list”. When you sign that contract with your blood, it is with the understanding that your innocence can never be regained. So take your parchment and quill and dip it in the flowing essence of your being. Mark your “X” and be done with the fear of ignorance. It was always a prison anyway. It was always only a way to avoid living.
