Digital Cowboy by Anat Cohen and Trio Brasileiro

Anat Cohen and Trio Brasileiro have perviously collaborated on the Grammy-nominated album Rosa Dos Ventos. Now, on the single “The Digital Cowboy,” the virtuoso Brazilian Trio and the celebrated jazz clarinetist venture into a new frontier; while their previous releases explored the area between traditional Choro music and contemporary jazz, the current collaboration explores a contemporary sound and sensibility, and the addition of electronic instruments, while maintaining the melodic sweetness and acoustic instrumental virtuosity the trio and Cohen are so strongly associated with. While the expansive, ambient sound of this single may be new, the familiar spirit and joy of music-making remains unwavering as in their previous celebrated releases.
