SIRENS from FORTS by AnalogueMechanic

From my album insired by the huge rusting WW2 Maunsell Forts in the Thames estuary. Each track explores a different aspect of these huge rusting structures. The environment in which they stand including the sea, wildlife and sounds that envelop them and echo through them during their time standing as lonely sentinels. The tourists who now visit them in boat trips from the harbour. And finally a tribute to the people manned them throughout the war and were very much an integral part of them.

Synthesizers used in the production of this album were:
Volca Modular x 2, Behringer 2600, Pittsburgh Modular System 201, Behringer Poly D, Dreadbox Erebus, Korg NTS-1.

I am a musician specialising in electronic/experimental music, using analogue modular and digital synthesisers and samplers.

I have been creating and performing electronic and tape based music and sounds since the early 1970's.
