hi mes amis! my first full-length album (thus precluding my previous EP) was just out! the writing and recording process of this album has added so much pleasure (as well as annoyance haha) to my past two years in Cambridge, and i hope that anyone who would like to pay it a listen would enjoy it as much as i myself do!

some info for the interested:

1. this album mainly consists of my exploration of the prog/art-rock genre (famous examples include Pink Floyd, Kaipa, Happy the Man etc.), with some progressive metal (famous examples are Dream Theater and Haken) elements in it.

2. it has six tracks, the first three with lyrics in either English or Mandarin Chinese. the tracks are as follows: 1. 迷宮 (the maze), 2. 雨中康河無人泛舟 (the rain on the cam), 3. 倒影 (reflections), 4. 中樞模式發生器 (central pattern generator), 5. 宇宙貓 (kitty kat with the stars), 6. 我們會在三月的倫敦重逢 (we will meet again in springtime London).

3. i HAVE considered putting it on the major streaming platforms (namely Spotify and Apple Music), but sadly large corps require music to be released by certified/licensed distributors, which often charge musicians quite a lot - i dont really have that much expense planned for the release of my music, and therefore can only choose to release it on Bandcamp.

4. i understand that you need to purchase the album for more than £0.5 to download it (in any format you want) on Bandcamp. if you just want to listen to the music and dont have that much money to spend on it, you can always DM me (though i dont know how it actually works here on Bandcamp) and i will gladly send you the album in mp3 - that is enough support for me already!

there are many that i would love to thank for helping me in the making of this album, and there will be many more that i would love to thank for supporting me. i hope my friends and fans can have a nice summer and stay safe - i cant wait until the everything goes back to normal (at least, ‘more normal’ than everything is now).
