This release is a compilation of recordings by Amon Ra Collective of the Beatles' Norweigan Wood.
The first was recorded by a quintet at Leeds Beckett University Studios in 2023.
The second was recorded live on the air of Chapel FM in 2024 and features a quartet.

Space-faring Leeds Cosmic Jazz Ensemble, Amon Ra Collective have been appearing at shows for the past 3 years in different combinations of between 2-15 people. Led by Sam Ehret-Pickett, they play an exciting fusion of energetic solos, pulsing rhythms, electronic noise, free improvisation and Butch Morris' Conduction method with jazz, rock, world, afrobeat, drum and bass, and funk compositions.
