A hidden gem in underground hip-hop history is finally getting its moment in the spotlight. Fool’s Pool, the long-whispered project from Dopestyle, produced predominantly by DJ 4AM with the final volume crafted by Shaggy Manatee, arrives as an exclusive three-part limited edition—the first time the complete original recordings will be available in their intended form.

Originally, Fool’s Pool never saw a proper standalone release. Its existence was only partially revealed in 2007 as part of a double CD, leaving the complete story untold. Now, the vaults have been opened to deliver the definitive collection, restored, expanded, and unfiltered.

The Triple Release Includes:

Vol. 1 – The Album: The original Fool’s Pool recordings, featuring alternate versions and tracks never heard by the public.

Vol. 2 – The DJ 4AM Sessions: Unreleased cuts and rare instrumentals created during the Fool’s Pool era but left off the album. This EP is only available as a bonus with the Deluxe Edition.

Vol. 3 – Quake Bros: A collaboration between Dopestyle and Shaggy Manatee, packed with all-exclusive material, solidifying their legendary chemistry.


Part of the acclaimed American Poets Series, this release not only preserves an essential chapter of Dopestyle’s legacy but also showcases the raw creativity of the early 2000s underground scene. Pressed in strictly limited numbers, Fool’s Pool is as much a collector’s artifact as it is a long-overdue celebration of a timeless record.

Availability:
Fool’s Pool will be released in Deluxe Edition and Standard Edition formats. The Deluxe Edition includes the bonus DJ 4AM EP and exclusive packaging. Once sold out, this edition will never be repressed.
