ReGenesis by Piscean Daydreams
JJ Rogalski is Piscean Daydreams, an Oakland, California-based multi-instrumentalist and sound artist who creates ambient music to foster deep listening, relaxation, contemplation, and imaginative journeys.
Utilizing mindfulness practices and improvisational composition techniques, he strives to connect to the well-spring of inspiration that emanates from silence and culminates in evocative music and ethereal listening experiences.
His music covers an array of ambient genres, resulting in a mixture of melodic and atonal compositions. He often employs the following mantra when describing his art: “Sometimes melodic. Sometimes dissonant. Always ambient.”
ReGenesis is his debut album, which focuses on themes of deep ecology, cycles of transformation, and the re-enchantment of the biosphere and cosmos.
