Voynich by Ambersmoke

Originally released on cassette in an edition of 5. Recorded direct to tape sometime in April or May 2013.

Voynich was conceived during a down period in which I was shying away from the public eye again and is likely one of the more obscure and unusual Ambersmoke releases. The tape was sold exclusively online with little to no announcement and only a few managed to secure copies, maybe 2 or 3, before ordering was cut off several weeks later.

There had been plans to perform Voynich material live which unfortunately never came to fruition because the idea of playing a set of free improv acoustic music was a little too far outside of my comfort zone at the time.
