A series of moments for grounded clarity to offer respite, contemplation, and reflection in an over-exploited environment. A reconsidered creative process sowing purpose among disparate recordings.
Gardening is the debut solo offering from Amar Lal, who some may know as the guitarist of the dynamic post-hardcore project Big Ups. Since moving to Oakland, CA, Amar has taken deeper journeys through his field recordings, his audio journals, and traced a path from "Privilege" to "Stasis" that brings us into his ways of seeing, his doors of perception, his indescribable. - NK
