Fake by Alone I Stand

"Fake" was born from the appreciation of fun, fast paced emo songs under 3 minutes. I took a weekend in 2021 to structure some of my recent ideas (and 1 scrapped idea from "In Backgrounds") and by the end of it, I had the foundation of 4 for what became the first 4 tracks on this EP. It took some time (and some greatly unexpected turmoil *sigh*) but I found a way to bring these ideas to life.

The contents of these songs have evolved beyond their initial stages and the overall sentiment I take from them now is as follows:

don't hurt people. don't be fake :)
