//typically when putting together an album I’ll heavily take into consideration what the listener wants from me, usually based on past reception. Listening to feedback & gauging what really resonates with people has been a huge factor in my creative process for years. I value the opinions of people who support me immensely. But, that has also lead to me scrapping a lot of the more experimental ideas I’ve had for a more digestible listening experience tailored towards fans.

With this album I 100% made the project that I wanted to hear. All of the songs that in the past I might have not released out of concern of it being too “weird” or divergent of what’s expected.. I doubled down on here. The beats, flows, sonic choices & subject matter for this album are intentionally different, but fully me. We all have a spectrum of ideas & interests that come together when we create. The beauty of it is finding a *balance* between all the many parts of us and freely expressing that to the world. That’s the only to truly connect.
