Someone dies to let live
Someone tries to forgive
The holy and the cursed
The haunted and the blessed

The holy soil is trod
And all the prayers are said for you

While I’m still alive there are words to be said
My soul must speak with the dead
Mourning is over, the crying is done
You don't have to hide behind the bones

All the ashes are spread
And all the tears are shed... for you

The ones that never left

No more unspoken lies, no more to justify
No reason to deny

I close my eyes, I'm side by side with the ones who died
Warm and cold, soul to soul, in between two worlds

I have no need to laugh or cry for the ones left behind
I have no reason to curse or pray for the ones who passed away
But they cannot stay...

No more weeping songs, time has come and gone
All must be said and done

The spirit and soul belongs to the sky
Their whisper will never die
The sound of the past will always fly
