A great album combining harmonic singing and medieval compositions, ancient music and electronics, Alberto Ezzu - baritono is joined by the female voice of Anna Siccardi - soprano, Paola Scatena - contralto, Stefania Priotti - mezzo soprano, and with instruments like flutes, bells, viella , timpani and armonium.

The AlmaMantra ensemble was born from the meeting of musicians with different musical experiences, united by the aim of looking for free expressions in music from preordained schemes, united by the desire to perform music from the medieval repertoire and original compositions in a meditative and introspective key.
to this end they use ancient, ethnic instruments, electronics and the voice in all its registers and settings, ranging from the mediaeval to the present.

With a mix of different stimuli, ranging from East to West, the ensemble musicians also use harmonic singing (overtones), medieval and oriental instruments, together with electronic instruments and bases.

Since the late 80s, Stefano Musso has recorded deep, evocative experimental ambient & electro-acoustic soundscapes under the name Alio Die.
His music is a shadowy, cavernous, intensely detailed fusion of acoustical elements, step-and-repeat sample treatments, sparse, echoing percussion, and deep, atmospheric sound design, textural passages..by the music's vague, entropic formlessness.
