Fa uns quants anys vaig voler fer un petit homenatge a alguns dels compositors de jazz que més m’han influït. Vaig prendre petits elements musicals d’algunes de les seves composicions i els vaig transformar en nou peces breus: una mena d’arranjaments, però molt passats pel meu propi filtre. L’obra va ser enregistrada pels nou músics de l’Open Jazz Collective el gener de 2020.

A few years ago, I wanted to pay a small tribute to some of the jazz composers who have influenced me the most. I took small musical elements from some of their compositions and transformed them into nine short pieces — a sort of arrangement, but thoroughly filtered through my own musical voice. The work was recorded by the nine musicians of the Open Jazz Collective in January 2020.
