Alex is originally from Latvia/former USSR. He was inspired by listening to his father play and sing when growing up. He is grateful to be able to translate and share these beautiful lyrics. He currently resides in northern Wisconsin, and when not engaged with music, he practices and helps teach wilderness living skills.
