Landscapes by Alexey V. Baranov
Landscapes is a cycle of short electronic improvisational pieces, played with Moog synthesizer emulator and some keyboards that are now impossible to identify, and made in one day around 2004 (the exact date is unknown).
The working title of the cycle was Electric Landscapes, in honour of Steve Reich's Electric Counterpoints.
The music, in turn, refers to pioneers of analog electronics such as Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream and Eduard Artemyev.
I minimally edited and remastered these tracks in 2024.

Alexey V. Baranov was born in Siberia. He graduated as music teacher in Novosibirsk in 2004 and also took classical guitar lessons. During 2000s/2010s he take part on local musical acts as a guitarist, bass player, arranger, and composer. Wrote music for a theater play. Over the past years he has lived in different countries, and now lives in Vietnam.
