Dear Bandcamp audience, before you is a new album of authentic Zenica dark zenica electro sound titled “Hard Drive”. Like previous albums, it is dedicated to the cyberpunk culture which is slowly becoming our reality if we consider the progress of technology, global climate changes, and wars that threaten to become a global catastrophe. Man has always found himself at such turning points in history, only before we did not have changes that could cause extreme changes to the world in the style of cyberpunk. In a cyberpunk dystopia, there is always some global catastrophe that has changed the world. In Judge Dredd, it was a nuclear war that happened in the near future. In Blade Runner, it was global industrialization that changed the world’s climate and made human civilization come to the brink of survival and had to rely on brutal technology. In Terminator and Matrix, it was a war between machines and man. These first ones, unlike these last two versions of cyberpunk stories, are real because they are happening in some way in the real world. The truth is, a nuclear war has not yet happened but there is a threat. While climate changes are reality. So I will quote a meme that is popular among cyberpunks that we should get used to the cyberpunk dystopia because we already live in it. That’s why this album, like the previous one, is dedicated to cyberpunk culture because we have become part of it.
