These recordings were made riding the buses and trains in Atlanta, Georgia's public transit system between 2013 and 2015, mostly during my commutes to and from work. Investigating the audio environment through electromagnetic, contact, and acoustic microphones provided a respite from urban claustrophobia I was experiencing. Revisiting them in these compositions was a delightful opportunity to decontextualize and focus on their rich textures and beauty. I hope you enjoy.
