The cover art and music video were made with 'Punch! Ultimate Deck & Landscape' - v3.5.1, which was a Windows 95/98/NT 3D CAD program for landscape garden designers. You can find the .ISO file for this software on Internet Archive if you want to try it out. ‘Basic Microwaving’ was heavily influenced by the artist ‘Eyeliner’ and features some off-kilter pop vibes and a slow-grooving DX21 FM bassline.
ako (Simeon Soden) infuses influences from obscure elements of electronic & dance music, including vaporwave & witchhouse, with experimental IDM. When performing, ako creates AV experiences using VHS, CGI & modified games consoles. He has released music on Sunset grid (Aus.), SPRIX (USA), N-aut, Nothing but, HOT-Q & Kaneda Records and has been played on BBC6 Music.
