Photosynthesis Theme from Sketchbook by Ajey Pandey

"This is an intro track I made for my friend Jakob, who runs this channel called Aut0tr0ph with his friend, Dominic. They do gaming Let's Plays, Photoshop tutorials, and a few sketches. (www.youtube.com/user/Aut0tr0ph) They're also starting another segment called "Photosynthesis," a daily talk show of sorts for which this theme was written.
I was talking to Jakob in driver's ed on Tuesday or something, when I saw him drawing this really abstract logo thing over and over. I asked him what it was, and he explained that he was making that new show, "Photosynthesis," for his channel. I offered to make him the theme song for it, since the channel currently used music from those royalty free music sites.
Specifically, I offered to make the intro theme for "Photosynthesis," which Jakob was pretty pumped about.
On Wednesday, I think, during a break in driver's ed, I quickly drew up the chord progression intended on Sunvox on my iPod, as Jakob watched. The file later deleted itself, but I could recreate the chords pretty quickly.
Finally, on Friday (28 July), I got to work (on a real computer), starting around 8 PM and finishing around 9:45. Since I was going for a short theme and not a full song, I could focus more on layered, lush sounds I normally don't have the patience to make on Sunvox. I went for a breakbeat sound, utilizing the first two chords from an old song I made in my Panda Plays Punk days called "Shimmer," (The final chord in this track is different, though) using fancy shmancy chords to get an ambient sound.
I hope you enjoy listening to this little ditty as much as I enjoyed making it."
Finally, I started actually documenting my music. (Remember this is post-"in lieu of effort"). Sadly, the show got cancelled after maybe two episodes.
