East Elyria by Aidan McNulty

East Elyria is a project rooted in place. The everyday, often mundane experiences and locations begin to have a meditative effect over time. The residential areas, empty parking lots, shuttered store fronts and nature preserves are soothing if not always inviting. The songs reflect my thoughts and feelings living in this area, and the melodic, drone heavy, rhythmic, and at times sentimental sound captures some aspect of it.
