The word 'Emotions' conveys a natural instinctive state of mind deriving one's circumstances, mood or relationships with others. The ep explores feelings of love, loss, joy and an occasional cry for attention here and there. It highlights humanity's constant need to be heard through powerful lyricism and intricate african drum patterns.

The soulful vocals in this instant are an instrument that echo feelings within different spaces and instances. The song Themba despite the name meaning hope spells out hopelessness as it pours out feelings of family disintegration and alienation. Happy people instantly shifts the focus from dismay to jubilation.

The guitar and trumpets within the song boast of a people filled with nothing but happiness. You, Broken Heart, Your Love, Uthando and Africa explain relationships and their complications, the good bad and the ugly. The ep is nothing short of a mixed bag of feelings.
