Continual Dichotomy by Aerial Resonance

I am trying to get myself and my environment on one line. I always struggle with that. But there never is more of value than giving everything for your family, loved ones and your friends.
There is always someone that I let slide.
It only is that during this process sometimes I feel as if I don't have time for myself left, to get my mind straight again.

In between everything you are supposed to do, may it be work, school, studying and all the other obligations you have there is little to no time.
And at least I need that time for me - my balance - and I know for certain that you do too. I always try to make something better about that, but being in the situation where someone close to you is telling you that you failed this is a hard hit in the guts. In the circle of life this often lead to changes where friends faded away or relationships changed because of the way you live your life. This always is the hardest thing to get over.

I consider myself a person that would do anything for his friends and loved ones. I experienced some exploit, but this only made my insight into human nature even bigger. And my mindset to this exact topic made me some friends for life and some relationships I will never loose.

I recently talked to a close friend of mine which moved away to study, and we barely saw each other in the past years. It is that kind of relationship that doesn't need a lot of fostering. I had a very bad day and saw that voicemail on my phone when getting back from work. It's these few moments in a year when we share our thoughts and which always make me smile. That really was what I needed that day.

And this reminds me of why I sometimes give myself up for others when they need me. I might have let myself slide in that moment, but wouldn't I want someone to help me through a hard time as well?

Life is an endless path of decisions.
Everyday we take a thousands of them we don't even reconsider.
I sometimes wonder what happens if we would. And I wonder if the world would be a more valueable place by doing so. And what this would do to my whole environment...

It is always worth, giving something up for others, when they need you.
Even if it is hard thing to do. It makes life worth living.

I struggle on getting a balance for me and my thoughts and to always be there for everyone a lot, but if you loose some thought about it you would always choose someone else above yourself.

And remind yourself: Life only starts when being shared with others.
