each of these recordings was made in max/msp using ppooll then mixed in Audacity. All of these programs are open source and all this was done on my Acer laptop which is past the point of (planned) obsolescence. The creation of these works coincided with a commissioned composing project and extended past those working hours. Whatever inspires people to post on Wikipedia is what inspired this music. That could be any number of things (knowledge, aesthetic beauty, etc) but we know for sure that it isn't profit. That's what's beautiful about projects like ppooll to me. That's what's beautiful about all the anonymous YouTube channels that post max/msp performances. I'm sharing these recordings in that spirit.
