TERRA is a dialogue between the fluid matter of water and the sound of the modular synthesizer. Environmental recordings — rain, thunderstorms, rivers, and streams — become the living fabric upon which slow frequencies, deep pulses, and synthetic resonances take shape.

The field recordings of water, rain, and valleys function as the primary compositional substrate of each piece. Rather than serving as mere ambient background, the sonic presence of nature provides the structural framework that supports and conditions the development of the modular synthesizer. The drones and electronic harmonies are not designed to override the natural recordings; instead, they articulate and modulate the temporal unfolding of each composition.

Petrichor (pron. [/ˈpɛtrɪkɔːr/]) is the scent of rain on dry soil; it is the title of both the opening track and the closing one, in an expanded version performed and recorded live.
Subnatat is a plunge beneath the surface of a cold mountain river. A swirling harmony pushes us into a vortex descent, until resurfacing in a safe place.
Listrea is a soundwalk along the stream of the same name. The ceaseless drone merges with the river in a parallel flow.
Piove, ma il bosco se ne frega is a manifesto for that which continues to exist undisturbed, even when unobserved or left without care.

TERRA è un dialogo tra la materia fluida dell’acqua e la sonorità del sintetizzatore modulare. Le registrazioni ambientali – piogge, temporali, fiumi e ruscelli – diventano la trama viva su cui si innestano frequenze lente, pulsazioni profonde e risonanze sintetiche.

Subnatat è un tuffo sotto la superficie di un freddo fiume di montagna. Un turbinìo armonico ci spinge in una discesa vorticosa, fino alla riemersione in un luogo sicuro.
Listrea è un soundwalk lungo il torrente omonimo. L’incessante drone si fonde con il fiume in uno scorrere parallelo.
