This site is dedicated to my Father-in-Law Eugene Dunn, who was a Wolfhound before me, and in the Korean War.
His art is the cover image for my Tall Ships music collection, also a part of this site.
I was stationed a Schofield Barracks all of 1976 and 77. One night in the barracks, in the first quad, the room the cannon faces on the second floor, I listened to a cassette tape by a guy who talked about growing up in Union City Michigan. Being from Michigan I wondered where that was. Didn't have Google in those days. Roll the clock forward and I meet and marry a girl from Union City.
The second song (Wolfhound II) is based upon the 2008 movie where Isabella was presented with a false choice between a Wolf and a Vampire. She could have had a Wolfhound all along. Poor Thing didn't know what she missed out on.
These songs reflect Great Lakes themes. They include Tall Ships, Shipwrecks, Hemingway, and an album about about people and place of Michigan called Michigama.
